Your trust is the foundation of everything we do at Planr. Before we get into the legal details, here’s our simple promise to you:
You are in control. You choose what information to share, and you can delete your account and all your data at any time. When you ask us to delete your data, it is gone permanently.
We are transparent. We will always be clear and upfront about what data we collect and why we need it to make Planr work for you.
We don't sell your data. We make money by offering premium subscriptions, not by selling your personal information to third parties.
We protect your information. Even though Planr does NOT ask for your complete name, email address, physical address, cellphone or landline numbers, we still use bank-level security and industry-best practices to keep your data safe.
This full policy below provides the details of our commitment.
This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use the Planr application (the "Service"). It also tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
We use your Personal Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Account means a unique account created for you to access our Service.
Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by you on any electronic device, named Planr.
Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Plan’r Technology Services Inc, a corporation registered in the Philippines, if you are a user residing in the Philippines, or Plan’r Financial Pte. Ltd., a company in the process of registration in Singapore, if you are a user residing in Singapore.
Country refers to: The Republic of the Philippines or the Republic of Singapore, depending on your place of residence.
Data Protection Officer (DPO) means the individual designated by the Company to handle all privacy-related inquiries and ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Device means any device that can access the Service such as a cellphone or a digital tablet.
Financial Planner User (or "FP User") means an individual using the Service for personal financial planning and tracking.
Financial Advisor (or "FA User") means a certified financial professional who has been vetted and approved by the Company to offer consultation services to FP Users through the Marketplace feature of the Service. This usually refers to, but is not limited to, a person who provides all forms of life and/or nonlife insurance.
Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual, in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
Sensitive Personal Information: Personal information about race, ethnic origin, marital status, age, color, religious/philosophical/political affiliations, health, education, genetic/sexual life, criminal proceedings, government-issued identifiers (e.g., SSS, tax records), or data specifically classified by law.
Service refers to the Planr Application, the Website (https://financial-planr.com/), and any related services provided by the Company. Note: Privacy and data collection standards may differ between the Application (which prioritizes anonymity) and the Website (which may collect contact information for waitlist and marketing purposes).
Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes data on behalf of the Company, such as third-party companies that help us provide or analyze the Service.
Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
You refers to the individual accessing or using the Service, whether as an FP User or an FA User (as described above).
Types of Data We Collect
For Financial Planner Users (FP Users):
Anonymity by Design: To protect your privacy, we do not require you to provide personally identifiable information such as your real name, email address, home address, landline and/or cellphone number/s to create an account and use the core features of the Service. FP Users cannot upload a profile photo.
Financial Data: To power the features of the Service, you manually provide us with financial information, such as transaction history, account balances, and investment holdings. The Service does NOT link to your financial accounts. All data entries are made manually.
Usage Data: Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. This may include necessary information such as your Device's IP address (your only identifier in the absence of real name and contact details), device type, the features of the service you visit, the time and date of your visit, and other diagnostic data.
Website Visitors & Waitlist: While the Planr Application is built for anonymity (requiring no email or real name), individuals who voluntarily sign up for our Waitlist or Newsletter via the Website provide us with their Email Address. This collection is necessary for website-based marketing and launch updates and does not affect the anonymity of the Application itself.
Platform Data Siloing (The Zero-Link Guarantee): We maintain a strict technical and administrative separation between data collected on our Website and data stored within the Application.
No Connection: There is no technical mechanism to link an email address provided on the Website (for waitlist or marketing purposes) to a specific anonymous Account within the Application.
Anonymity Gap: Because the Application does not require an email address or real name for FP Users, the Company cannot identify which Application account belongs to which Website visitor. Signing up for the Website waitlist does not and cannot compromise the anonymity of your Application data.
Artificial Intelligence & Insights: We use Usage Data and de-identified, aggregated Financial Data to provide and improve our AI-powered financial insights.
No Individual Training: We do not use your specific, identifiable Financial Data to train machine learning models in a way that would allow your data to be reconstructed.
Privacy by Design: All data processed for AI improvement is stripped of identifiers (like IP addresses) before being used for analytical purposes.
AI-generated insights are provided for informational and educational purposes only and should not be considered financial, investment, tax, legal, or insurance advice. Users remain solely responsible for decisions made based on information generated by the Service.
ONLY for Financial Advisors (FA Users):
To verify your credentials, manage your Marketplace profile, and vet your online “Marketplace” service, we need to collect the following information:

Email Address
Landline and/or Cellphone Numbers
Professional License / Certification Details

We do not sell your Personal Data. We only share your information in the following limited circumstances:
With Your Explicit Consent: If you, as an FP User, choose to book a consultation with an FA User through our Marketplace, we will ask for your explicit consent to grant that FA User temporary, read-only access to your financial profile data to make the consultation productive. The FA User is an independent third party responsible for their own data protection compliance, including any Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements they must fulfill.
When you choose to share your financial data with a Financial Advisor through the Marketplace, we will do so only with your consent. Once the information is shared with your consent, the Financial Advisor becomes independently responsible for its collection, use, storage, disclosure, and protection in accordance with applicable law and the advisor's own privacy practices. Planr's responsibility is limited to facilitating the transfer of information through the Platform. We encourage you to review the Financial Advisor's privacy practices before sharing your data. You may revoke your consent to future sharing at any time through your Account Settings.
With our Service Providers: We may share your information with trusted Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, host our infrastructure, and facilitate the Service's core functions. We have Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with all Service Providers requiring them to: protect your data, process data only on our instructions, not use data for any other purpose, implement appropriate security measures.
For Legal Requirements: The Company may disclose your Personal Data if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend the rights or property of the Company, or protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public, and prevent fraud, misconduct, or illegal activity.
The Company will retain your Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, provide the Service, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our legitimate interests.
You may request deletion of your Account and Personal Data at any time. Upon receipt of a valid request, we will delete or anonymize your Personal Data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required or permitted by applicable law, necessary for security or fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
When Personal Data is no longer required and no lawful basis for retention exists, it will be securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable law and industry-standard practices.

Cross-Border Data Transfers
Your information may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to countries outside of your country of residence, including the Philippines and Singapore, which may have different data protection rules. We will take appropriate steps to ensure that any such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that your data remains protected to the standards described in this Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to such cross-border transfers.
The security of your Personal Data is a top priority. In the unlikely event of a data breach likely to result in real risk of serious or significant harm, we will notify the: (1) Philippines: The National Privacy Commission (NPC) and affected users within 72 hours from knowledge of the breach, as required by NPC; and (2) Singapore: The Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and affected individuals as soon as practicable, no later than 3 calendar days from assessment, as required by PDPA.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your Personal Data, including encryption, access controls, and industry-standard security practices. Our commitment to your security is reflected in our "privacy by design" approach, such as allowing manual data entry instead of direct bank linking, not requiring personally identifiable information for FP Users, and Data siloing between Website and Application. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You may be rest assured as data does not relate to any real name, email address, or other contact details.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
Where required by applicable law, or where changes materially affect how we collect, use, disclose, or otherwise process Personal Data, we will provide additional notice and obtain your consent where required.
